Hi Chris, nice stuff as usual, especially your French AFVs & your log trucks (nice touch with the tarpaulins).

You did a very nice 3 tones camo. We seem to have moved from there though, we paint our AFVs a base brown (all the ones I saw these past few years were monochrome), with the option to add some touches adapted to the terrain.

Hey Foxbat, when did the French Army switch from the NATO 3-color camo pattern to the all brown color? I want to repaint my French gear because right now it is the same camo pattern as all my US camo stuff and I would like a little variety when it comes to painting my tanks!

Foxbat, that you for the feedback. I have seen the camo in a few pictures lately.
The color appeared to be bronze to me. I will need to look more closely at this. I may need to send an invoice to the French Dept of Defense if I need to repaint everything.

Gentlemen, something special for you what began years ago with the T-80 that became surplus to people, they want the ERA. I acquired a bunch. My initial goal was to get a battalion of 31 tanks, got a couple more, so thinking of the Mech Inf. Rgmt/Div? for a Tank Battalion of 40 T-80. Then some more showed up. I had to put them in special 3-tone camouflage for the Independent ‘Break through’ Tank Battalion of 5 companies of 10 tanks plus 1 or 2 for the battalion command… The T-80s without the ERA make more sense to me for 3-tone camo (vs. T-80 ERA). Then someone selling some, then a guy wanted to trade in my favor as he wanted ERA. THEN, I have a Regiment, then more… I add 2-3-12 T-80 periodically.. Maybe at the next con, I will try to put them all on the table to see how many I have, guess 140-160 range.
These pictures have 100 T-80, in 5 tank traps.
