Going back in time to the Cold War:

Next up:

Battalion HQ Company including C&C, maintenance, mortars and scouts.

If my order from H&R ever gets here with the goers, I'll add the III/V platoon.

That is a beautiful sight, Cav Dog! I can't wait to see more!

Are you doing a full battalion of the A2s?

This the first company of a battalion task force, Task Force Kirk, after James T, its commander.

It'll have 1 company of starships, 1 company of M60a1s and 1 company of mech infantry in M113s, plus the HQ and CSC company.

CavDog,
Great work on the M60A2s. Can't wait to see more. Not really sure why, but have a special place in my heart for M60s. I grew up near Fort Dix/ McGuire Air Force Base. More than once I would see an M60 along one of the roads crossing the New Jersey Pine Barons. On one occasion, I went pas a fire break and a platoon was posted for the night with tanks pointed in 4 directions away from each other. Those images seared in my inner childs mind and reside there to this day.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Had a platoon of M60A2s in '75-'76. Loved 'em, but they could be difficult. Your battalion configuration would likely have been in 3ID(M) in USAREUR.

Cav Dog, the M60 A2 look nice. You can dominate the board, no problem!
PG might try to use against Custer in ‘76….

Tanke care, nice posts and commentary.

Chris, great statement of why I don't wargame...

Oh, pardon me. That was Ford.
But you should wargame with miniatures.
I appreciate you.
