It depends on the type of mines. This sort of device works against single-impulse, non-bòast resistant and pressure fused mines. So it has to be used together with a mechanical clearing system in case of more sophisticated mines.

As a standard the system will clear a lane 100m long and 16 meter wide in a minefield but ths actually depends also on the depth of the mines, the type of ground and so on.

It is most effective with relatively new minefield and in more or less soft ground. Hard or rocky ground will degrade its performace.

If you were going to remake Solyent Green you could yous these instead of the garbage trucks for crowd control :twisted:

Good memory. The movie Soylent green is of 1973. If I remember right the scene, the human load of the trucls was carried to the Soylent factory to be transformed in Soylent Green.
