Is it made of metal or resign? There was a Person (I use this term extreamly lightly) in the very early-mid 70's in so. cal. that used to make replica minitures (I refered to him as resign Rips run by the cheater man) it looks like one of his morphadites he used heroics and ross minitures to copy and he also modified and scratch build some vehicles, and yes you are correct and 40 plus years on he still iritates me a LOT. jerk was a real creaper.

Got to agree... seems like a hypothetical tank/ SPG equivalent. Looks a little like a 2S3 Acacia SPG (the Soviet era 152mm SPG) so I guess it was either meant to be an imaginative idea of a prototype of that or a new tank type.

With that in mind I'd be opting to go with it being an old ISM piece... they had a thing for flights of fancy re. "prototype" vehicles.

I believe the model is ISM #2035, Puma with HVMS. Note that in ISM's lexicon, HVMS is not High Velocity Missile System, but how it refers to an Israeli gun turret. Obviously, it was purely theoretical.

Really? Interesting -- I had no idea about such a project. Well that does answer one question about the some of the bizarre projects pursued by ISM.

Funny thing, the owner of said casting, had it stowed with his Israeli vehicles. So...

Thanks guys!
