Okay, great 1st platoon.
Please follow us, if we come open anything heavy, we will let you handle them.

Will the NC battalion pinch in some? That way if ROD does we will be 3 battalions abreast, or a BDE on line.

Message came in, it was translated, not sure if accurate.
“Chris the ROD task force will be joining us in this campaign, but there is a rumor that they will turn their guns on us if their effort to withdraw. If that where to happen consider the ROD Task Force Eagle as enemy targets and destroy them, do you understand? As I cannot afford to deal with traitors.“
.
Not sure if decoding is working right.
Conversation in communication M577, “he wants us to shoot on the ROD forces if they do something or in NC does something, I’m not sure.â€￾
“ROD has M1A2, we have M1A1 HA, so my guess the A2 are a bit better. Let them use their Leopard 2 against the M1A2. It’s that we are between them.“
“ we better send this up the line, disturbing to be sure.â€￾

That message is inaccurate, probably someone in our unit grumbling about something, you may have just misheard it.

Thank you for the coordination, CoC. We are making very good progress and the support elements are able to keep up with the combat units. At this rate we should be able to reach Highway 1 in Iraq by about midnight tonight. Then the brigade commander will need to issue some orders. Haditha lies only a few hours beyond Highway 1.

The orders from JTF-M Commander to the TF Eagle commander are no secret. TF Eagle will follow the orders of the NC commander, but if the NC commander issues orders that are either illegal or reckless, ROD troops will withdraw from the operation and they will destroy any NC forces that happen to be in their way. The NC commander agreed to this stipulation.

Most recent drone and aircraft flights over Haditha reveal that PAC forces are present in both Haditha and Haqlaniyah. There are several hundred infantrymen in each location, backed up by T55s, though exact numbers are hard to determine because the vehicles are being hidden inside of buildings and the infantry are moving about, building defensive works inside of the cities. The artillery positions are pretty accurate though - 5 guns on the northern outskirts of Haqlaniyah, 5 guns on the western outskirts of Haditha, and 6 guns on the east bank of the Euphrates. All guns are D30 towed howitzers.

Ah Crap they are all inside the city, this not going to be easy fighting in a populated area. what are the chances that we might come across PAC supporters or backed militants among the population?

You will probably not see many PAC supporters since the PAC marched in from the north and occupied their city. In fact, there are a large number of refugees fleeing the two cities.

TF Eagle has halted near highway 1. We are refueling and conducting maintenance on our vehicles and waiting for further orders from brigade HQ.

Iraq
The chances is the job of the BDE command to determine and to improve them.
You do have lots of options, I.e.
Frontal infantry assault
Frontal feint and flank or rear assault
Artillery fire in the area
GPS artillery fire the buildings desired, or all the buildings
Artillery and then infantry assault
Chemical artillery to kill everyone with Non-persistent agents
Chemical artillery to kill everyone with Persistent agents so no one will live there for years
Chemical artillery with agents that knock people unconscious for hours
Surround the place, starve them out.
Surround the place, Bomb all known water wells.
Surround the place, put shooters in cherry picker trucks with Barrett .50 rifles to shoot anyone seen with a weapon.
There are others.

I don't honestly think the ROD will approve the idea of Chemical weapons being used in a populated area, that will be considered an illegal order.

When we reach Haqlaniyah, we will conduct a Frontal Armored Assault on the PACs positions, MBTs will go up front the light vehicles carrying the Infantry goes to the back. Artillery units will fire smoke rounds to cover our approach, once inside Haqlaniyah the infantry will dismount and conduct door to door operations to clear them out.

Ok, yes sir.
Explain how that will work? What is the front of Al-Nukhib? Have you conducted recon then evaluated this target?
HQ, what is your position?
What is the expected location of the NC BDE? Is that where they are?
What about the CoC BDE? Orders please? Where should we be?
Our last position communicated was just inside Iraq, two Cav Troops B & C are just outside Al-Nukhib By 2 km. The core BDE is southwest of Al-Nukhib by 3 km. Which is where we are, straddling Hwy 80.
Our line is basically perpendicular to the Hwy.
.
What are you orders? Would you like us to follow Hwy 21 is probable route then take Hwy 1 and Hwy 10/11 to the northeast? Or Hwy 22 or another direction?
I heard ROD BDE are reading, setting up camp, playing soccer, setting up permanent latrines 50m away from camp, calling the ‘hot Iraqis women’ chatline.
.
Conversation in BDE communication tent... ‘I am guessing the commander has watched too many Star Trek movies.â€￾
“Yes, I agree, then ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’. Then had too much to drink.â€￾
“I think those guys leading are on crack, just my theory, you can check it out.â€￾

Redleg has provided me with a Map of the PAC positions in Haqlaniyah and Haditha. Will travel up Hwy 12 first then turn into Hwy 19 towards Haqlaniyah.

Attack boundaries are set up as followed.

ROD will be in the Centre attacking the PAC positions on the highway.

CofC will be on the Left Flank attacking the PAC positions on the left side of the city.

NC will be on the Right Flank, attacking the PAC positions on the right side of the city.

Once all three are in position the artillery units shall began firing smoke rounds in the direction of the enemy's defensive works to cover our approach, then all three battalions will proceed to enter into the city, MBTs up front, Light armored vehicles in the back.

Okay, let me see if I have this correct, ok?
So when we turn onto Hwy 12 from 19, are we all on the road? Do we each get a lane, maybe? What side is left of the city Haglaniyah?
. When is HQ planning to have the line rearranged? When/where do you want to conduct the pass through by flank? You would be moving through 2 other BDEs with you BDE.
. You may have not read my questions yet, keep reading, I am sure you will be able to read them all.
When you answer those it will help me.
.
To ROD BDE, the CoC will start moving up Hwy 80, left on Hwy 21, turn right on Hwy 1 and use Hwy 10/11. If you would like to position your BDE left flank on these roads as we move extending your BDE to the right as you see suitable. The CoC BDE will utilize these highways as our right flank. Your left flank platoon and my right flank platoon can ride the road followed by our logistics with Mayor Rivers and Captain Albeck, his assistant to coordinate. If you have any suggestions or changes let us know. My thinking if you are so inclined ROD is to eliminate threats as we come upon them, Let me know your thoughts.
.
Scouts out, go. 2 OH-6 out, 1 Predator out. Two companies launched their handheld drones.
