Yeah, kind of. But not too bad. Definitely moves higher on the list if you're looking for a "let's have some fun painting" project, rather than a "let's get these done so I can get them on the game table" project.

I glued them together first. Not sure if it might not be easier to paint the motorcycles and the side cars separately. But I glued 'em.

Then primed (in white). Stands around the wheels in my standard craft-store color called "mushroom" that I use for dirt. Then base-coated in French Khaki Green (old Poly-S color). Then uniforms in Khaki, with Khaki Brown packs and boots. Then a dark wash. Then some metalic gray on the engines and MGs, grimy black for the tires, flesh for hands and faces, French Khaki Green again on the helmets, and a dot of white for the headlights.

In fact I'm doing a few more. I found that my assumed organization of a platoon was not correct. These guys (French motorcycle recon troops) should have 2 squads per platoon, plus a small HQ team, rather than 3 squads per platoon + HQ team. And there are only 2 platoons per company, plus COY HQ team and a 60mm mortar team.

Which means, if I do just 4 more combos I can have a full company! And I just happen to have 4 more combos left in the pack.

Oh yes please! So the last of my motorcycle figs are on the bench being painted!

Thank you gentlemen! I have a few more DAK vehicles to get going and then a (insert favorite spicy word) ton of infantry to base and paint. Really looking forward to that… #sarcasm

I have just as many if not more British vehicles in NA to base and paint. See above point regarding British infantry.

I have fewer American vehicles in NA along with a decent amount of Italians as well. And all the infantry I will ever need for a game. Really not looking forward to painting 700-800 infantry.

But I need to get a shoe in with NA. Always like it but was never in a position to game it.
