Expensive duty to guard a garrison... ummmm.
New Canada Military News, "Fortunately we will not perform operations in Germany, CFB Lahar will only be used to help the regimental commanders better coordinate the troops when fighting overseas.
Plus the troops sent to the base are on Garrison duty."
Maybe Germany Govt is concerned about Russia invasion.

We lived in a stairwell last time. All those bins you mentioned, plus a bin for Brown glass, one for green glas, and one for batteries. And you better not get it wrong, either. And cardboard was separate from other paper. The Germans are not necessarily more efficient than everyone else, but they do have a very specific procedure for everything.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

Unfortunately, you can’t just stroll into the ROD position. The teams are dispersed throughout the area, and even if you find one of them you will have to preset the proper far recognition signal to avoid being killed. A blue light will flash and you can either present a VS-17 panel folded in the correct manner or you can lay down your weapons and be disarmed and hog tied.

The VS-17 panel is a piece of fabric that is orange on one side and pink on the other. It can be folded to form specific patterns, and these patterns serve as a far recognition sign, which changes every 24 hours. Since you have no way of knowing what the correct pattern is, the ROD troops see the VS-17 panel but the wrong pattern is displayed.
The ROD troops disappear without a trace.
If you want to contact the ROD operators in Syria you should go through official ROD military channels. Or if you want you can try snooping around in certain hookah lounges in Raqqah or Damascus to find one of their informants. You probably don't have much time though. The ROD guys were in the country due to Turkish/Kurdish/Syrian activity, but since we seem to be migrating into an Al Kabbab scenario the ROD will most likely shift their attention to the east back into northern Iraq.
