Nice presentation of the ships (looking good) and the history. Both much appreciated.

A few Royal Navy cruisers, intended as opponents for all these KM heavies I did recently (alongside the Duke of York, so that things aren't lopsided
)
So, in my interpretation of RN arctic camo ( I declined any attempt at a faithful rendition after my 3rd pack of aspirins
), here are HMS Belfast, HMS Jamaica & HMS Sheffield :
HMS Sheffield, Belfast & Jamaica.

HMS Belfast

Thanks, gentlemen.
Today was a lucky day : a member of the club let go of his Micronauts, and look at the haul I made for 50€ :
2 Kongos, 1 Scharnhorst, 1 Warspite, 2 Tone, 1 Aoba, 1 Suffolk, 2 Agano, 1 Kuma, 1 Köln, 3 Kagero & 3 Akatsuki!

Granted, they are not shipshape, I need to purchase a bottle of Acetone, but I can certainly add to my collections with this lot.

That's awesome! Now we're hook though and you need to post pics once you get them all painted up to the Foxbat standard!

Thanks, gentlemen. Work is already started on the first batch of this lot.
Now, some stuff I painted, more like variations on a theme, "Heavy cruiser escorted by destroyers". Nothing planned, happened I just painted the models in this order.
USN version

Close up on the Chicago

And on the Clemson class

Now the RN version

Close up on HMS Norfolk, 1942 version

And the O-class DDs. Of course, the glorious HMS Onslow takes center stage.

Cheers.

Foxbat,
Awesome job on the GHQ ship models! I really like the bases, too. Where did you get the bases? Do you glue your models to the acrylic bases? How do you avoid making the bases haze up from the glue?
The labels are great, too. All of my ships are not based. Seeing your models making me rethink things.
Thank you again for sharing the photos of your well painted ship models. Very nice work!

Foxbat,
Nicely finished ships. Look very nice.
Some of the pictures have a reflection of some sort which is wonderful. The reflections off the ‘water’ is super duper!.
It seems to be the darker colors.
