It sends out P-2 patrol aircraft to circle Karmanaskis, listening out for any aggressive intent. It has been more calm the last two months. The number of patrol flights might be reduced. The discussions will continue.

Nuclear detonation has occurred on Karmanaskis Island.
The S-2 Tracker is looking for any signs of life. It is believed to be an accident as there is/was not any conflict with any other nation. The Karmanaskis Nuclear Agency was developing this capability. The explosion did not have an efficient detonation, it was a slow event taking about 2-3 seconds for it to complete the sequence. Fortunately the yield was reduced. More research is to take place.
