Kid of Speed is a woman who lives in the Ukraine. She is an amatuer phot-documentarian. The following are links to two of her projects. The first documents the dead zone around the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant. And the second is on the Serpents Wall around Kiev. It includes photos of WWII artifacts she and her friends have found while exploring the wall. Both are well worth checking out. The pictures are fascinating!

saw the first site quite a while ago, it looked ok, then I got to hunt around some sites where they were talking about what 'she' had done and there were some interesting questions and inconsistencies being discussed. Such as the content of the photos, whether items had been placed there deliberately, was this another cyber artist at work etc.
it took me back to when I was there (outside of the exclusion zone!) in '93/'94
as fror the second site, there are certainly some interesting images there but some of her comments are very west ukrainian in tone and consequently should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. For the most part though another site to mark and as I say, the photos remind me of my visit in the '90's and some of what I saw there. An interesting area to visit.
