Me and my buddies are gonna test I aint been shot Mum in 1/285 scale this weekend and see how it works out. I think the game was originally designed for use with 15mm and up but we'll se if it can be transformed.

Well, what can I say... IABSM! didn't really work out that well for us. As we game tested it, we soon learned that the system is'nt quite good for 6mm. Originally, the game is considered for 10 to 20mm skirmish scale battles and becomes a tad to "messy" for larger 6mm battles. Hance, I aint been shot mum is a fun rule system but not for 6mm.
BTW & FYI pictures from the game will be posted here as soon as possible =)

Most skirmish games seem to have lots of markers and stuff, and get a bit messy when you have more than a platoon on the table - and with micro-armor, I dont think I could ever stop with just a platoon. Have you tried Piquet's Point of Attack: Blitzkrieg? I enjoy the Piquet system, and while I dont have the Blitzkrieg module, I have the two other 20th Century modules, Barrage and Forgotten Heroes. I understand that Blitzkrieg does do the 1=1 scale, but figures are based at 3 figures to a base, making them a bit easier to handle. I have done the GHQ Vietnam figures for Forgotten Heroes, and it looks great. The rules system is something that most either realy like or realy hate, with not much in between. I'm a convert and a bit addicted to it, so I would recommend you find somebody who has it and try it before shelling out for the rules. Be sure to read the design notes so you will understand why they wrote it the way they did. I'll keep my Battleground WW2 stuff for my skirmish gaming, but for a company or more on the table, I'll go with Piquet.
