Infantry Letter Grade?

Post by xhrit »

New to the game and I have not read the rules yet - but I want to purchase my forces at the same time as the rulebook and I am having a hard time deciding what to get without knowing how good everything is.

Anyway, what does the letter grade that all infantry have mean?

The letter grade on the infantry represents subtle differences in weapons that the infantry carry. Infantry type D are of lower quality weapon wise than Infantry type A. For example, look at a 50s era, type D infantry has a fire power of 1/5 but a Type A has 7/6. The D is a low quality infantry unit with perhaps bolt action rifles and the Type A is carrying auto and semi auto weapons.

For modeling purposes there really is no difference.
