pics of modern infantry anyone?
Hi, I have yet to actually purchase any minis of my own, but I'd like to see some modern infantry pics if you would please. Just to get an idea of what to look for. Thanks.

thanx
hey thanks for the pics Cav Dog. I really like your woodland US infantry. I'm not crazy about the desert choc chip camo ones. Not saying you did a bad job on those, just dont like that camo design in general. I'm looking to do a hypothetical US vs Russian modern scenario, when I finally buy them. Do the US packs come with men with the newer Javelin AT missiles by any chance? Or are they just the Dragon missiles?
Do you have any other pics of US woodland infantry, by any chance?
thanx

Thanks man. The colored square is for gaming purposes. It is the "class" level of the particular unit. This is used for such things as Morale, fire quality, etc, etc.Gort wrote:Nice ruskies JB! I especially like the ID tags on the bases. BTW what does the number/color in the square represent?

JB and CavDog thanks for the posts, those are some pretty cool looking infantry. JB, were those US infantry GHQ? They looked slighlty different to me than Cav Dogs'. I just mean that you could tell the kevlar vest apart from the reg. uniform, probably just the painting though.(bdu's tan / kevlar green) Were any of those MGs, m240s by any chance? Looked kinda like it. Thanks guys!

They are definitely GHQ's. The LMG is also an M240,but I had to cut the size down and reattach. It seems that all of the two crew weapons are way out of scale. So I try to remedy that as best I can. I still think the butt end is too large, but thats too much to do without showing the butchery...Atticus wrote:...JB, were those US infantry GHQ? They looked slighlty different to me than Cav Dogs'. If you will note the second picture; I put an unmodified two crew weapon in the middle, just so you could see the difference amongst the other 3.
