NEW CAMERA

Post by sfcgreg29er »

Hey all,

Just bought a new Nikon Coolpix L6 and thought I'd post a pic. I still need to play around with the lighting a little, but for the cost of the camera, it does a pretty good job. The camera has a macro feature which lets you get to within 4" of the subject being photographed. It also comes with software that you can sharpen the image, change the lighting and even make it B&W or sepia.

Purchased the camera at Best Buy on sale for only $150.

Very nice!

Camera seems to work fine. Like the model, too! Nice muddy-effect on the front tires.

Buy more cameras, so you can post more pics! (Unless you want to just re-use the camera you have, in which case I say: buy more micro-armor, so you can post more pics!) In any case, post more pics!

Thanks for the complements guys.

Especially from the master, Ritter himself 8)
By the way, Troy, do you think you will get around to updating the terrain section of your web site??

The bases are made from some left over 12" x 12" vinyl kitchen flooring tile. Score and snap into 1" strips, then score and snap into 1" squares. Sand the edges and paint. 144 bases for the price of about $1.00 and a little sweat equity. With a kid in college you have to be resourceful

Funny thing Sfcgreg29er, I have used the floor tiles - funny odor though - but yours look thicker somehow. The sanding maybe as I score - break - and flock. Nices job!

Terrain section - yes - an area I plan on updating some time in the future with pics etc...Tom's got a wicked site dealing with the hexes here:
