Modern German Question

Post by dougeagle »

I'm just looking at the GHQ Modern TO&E list that I happen to have from last year and was wondering at what time frame, approximately, when the Modern German forces went from a 4 tank company to 3 tank company?

You can find that on page 144-45, Panzer Bridage 1970+ and the Panzergrenadier Brigade 1970+ of the German TO&E pdf from the site.

Same goes for the British forces, modern as well.
At what point did the British forces go from 5 troops per squadron too 4?

Thanks for the info...if anyone has more too add, please do :D

Okay so now I have another question. This one concerns the use of a Battalion HQ for multiple Artillery Batterys/ Battalions.

If I have 2 Battalions of 3x 155mm each and 1 Heavy w/ 2x 175mm + 1 203mm, can I use just one Battalion HQ for both? Or do I need to have 2 separate HQ's?
