WW2 Desert Colors

Post by dougeagle »

Hi gang,

I'm looking into some WW2 Africa battles and am wondering what colors would be best suited for both the British, Germans and the Italians.
I was thinking of a Desert yellow for the Germans, but I think it might be too dark.

Just some helpful suggestions would be nice :D

Thanks
Doug

Ex the Humbrol range (you might find colour conversion charts on line to whatever brand you use):
German: Ochre #83
British: Desert Yellow #93
Italian: Yes, I'd like to know too... :)

Hi All

Regarding the British, it depends on the period (before or after Alamein). Can't do worse tham these guides:
