I know this is a forum for modeling, but I feel that subjects like Veterans day are quite related to alot of the forum users here. I really don't mean any "political" offense to anybody here.
So I would just like to give a salute to all veterans, and not least those of other nations that sacrifice in the cause of human freedom, and the great citizens of all nations that support us.
Thanks and salute.

jb,
Thanks for the salute.
It's never political when you honor and thank veterans for the service they've given in the past and for those who continue to give service to their country today.
I had the honor and privilege of participating in a color guard this morning. Posting the National Colors in the church of a pastor who just happens to be my unit's Chaplain. He is currently deployed and is home from Iraq on R & R. He paid a suprise visit to his congregation by singing the National Anthem when we posted the Colors at the beginning of the service. Wow, were they ever surprised. Good stuff! Good stuff!
Thanks again, from a soldier currently serving.
