While browsing the Internet -- specifically, the English Russia web site -- I found some pictures of a military parade in Moscow (date unknown, but I'd guess fairly recently). There are quite a few pictures, including some shots taken from a 2nd or 3rd story window -- which gives a "modelers view" of equipment. Click

to see the pictures.
Hope y'all enjoy this!

Military parade in Moscow
"Well, I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones. You sure you got today's codes?"

Several things amazed me. The troops dont look all that enthused. The crowd didnt look all that enthused. And I hadnt seen their helmets recently. Look an awful lot like our kevlar stuff. Vehicle camo not all that different from our Woodland pattern, just a different shade here and there. Interesting. Nothing at all like the old May Day parade in Red Square.
