Modern crews question

just wondering if anyone has a suggestion as to what infantry unit would be good at representing a modern vehicle/aircraft crew that has abandoned/ejected from their vehicle. Are there any WWII weapons crews that would go well with this role?
Its a sniper rifle, not a "sniper"! You don't call an assault rifle an "assault"!
