Hey Phil-

Very nice work on the Horsas. If you are looking to recreate the assault on Pegasus Bridge, I might be able to help. I am about to release a 1:285 scale card model of the bridge, along with Cafe Gondree and other features. It will be out before the end of the month, and will be available as a downloadable pdf. If you visit my website, you'll see the already released 15mm version. The micro scale model uses the same textures, and is simplified a little to accomodate the smaller size.

Regards.

8Ball,
thanks and yes I would be very interested, esp. as it's on my projects list and a scratchbuild would take a while. One thing I'm concerned about is the width of the bridge as from the measurements I worked out it'd be not as wide as the bases I'm using(35mm) but that can easily be addressed.

Good to see there's some other eager beavers for these models, bear in mind that users of this forum aren't permitted to directly link to other suppliers as a matter of courtesy towards out hosts; GHQ.

However if you were to look around you might be able to spot 8ball's company name somewhere on this thread, which when input into google might take you straight to him...

Hey fellas. We're not allowed to put a link here, but my website is:
toshachminiatures dot com.

The road surface of the bridge is 25mm wide. The overall width of the bridge including the pedestrian walkways is about 40mm. So far the set will include the bridge, Cafe Gondree, the pillbox, and the 50mm gun position.

It's nearly complete, and I'm determined to have it up on the site before the end of the month. I'll try to post pics of some of the components here this weekend.

Thanks for your interest.

It's coming. The components are actually complete. I have to do another test-build, get the model into marketable format, and write the instructions. I did a test-build of Caffe Gondree yesterday and it came out nicely, including the chimnies. They are very small.

Look for it near the end of the month.

Thanks for your interest fellas.
