Does anyone have an idea for stats (Micro Armor Modern Rules) for the following Vehicles:
M-1117 Guardian ASV, MTVR Mk. 23 Truck, Cougar MRAP 4x4 & 6x6, and the FASV.
Any information/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Sorry to have been away so long. Real world issues have kept me quite focused in other areas. I have been watching the forum from time to time, but haven't done much work on my minis. Still lots of good pics, advice, and suggestions as always.

The formulas used to calculate the point values are in the designer notes of the modern rules starting on page 31. The stats you need to plug into the formulas are fairly easy to find with some google searches.
The vehicle stats can be reasoned out by looking at similar weapon systems as a point of reference. I have done this a couple of times myself and it is not all that hard.
The author of the GHQ WWII and Modern rules passed on a while back, he was a dear friend, and I am working with his widow to gain access to any work in progress and design formulas so that they can be published.

Daryl:
I found the formulas of which you spoke (I'm blind
). Tried them out for a few vehicles
Type-- PV--TL--FP (AP/HE)--R (AP/HE)--Min R--Def (Arm)--Speed--Cargo--Trans
M-977 HEMTT---18---3--- N/A--- N/A---N/A---1---16-W ---24---N/A
M-978 HEMTT---18---3--- N/A--- N/A---N/A---1---16-W ---24 (Fuel)---N/A
M-1117 ASV---74---4---2/6---10/20---N/A---(4)---20-W---4---N/A
MTVR---52---4---1/5---10---N/A---(4)---18-W---18---N/A
FASV---30---4---1/5---10---N/A---1---20-W---2---N/A
I used the ratings for similar vehicles already in the rules, as well as my own reference material. The M-977/978 HEMTT's have been around awhile, that's why their TL is 3. The M-1117 Guardian has the same UGS turret as the AAV-7A1 amtrac. It is a new vehicle (fielded last year) and is rated TL-4. The MTVR is also a new vehicle and is armored similar to the Buffalo EOD vehicle and Cougar series MRAP's. It also mounts a M-2 .50 cal HMG. The FASV has gone through many variations according to an ex-SEAL friend of mine. Most everything has been updated for current equipment, comm's, etc.
The above numbers ARE NOT gospel. They are my best calculation based on the material used. Everyone is welcome to run their own calc's, and see how their numbers compare. I would like to have some "real" numbers for the newer vehicles.
I was very sorry to read on this forum about the passing of Mr. Fernandes. From what I recall reading, he must have been "a hell of a man". I know that he is missed by all who knew and loved him.
