Hi All,
Does anyone hae any ideas on use of multiple rocket launcher fire sheafs?
With a tube artillery battery of three sections an extended pattern would cover 1 inch by 6 inches. But A BM14 rocket battery extended pattern would measure 1 inch by 24 inches. In real life this is 100 metres by 2.4Km! This can't be right, can it?
I thought of allowing the impact markers to be arranged in a square or rectangle. Thus a BM14 battery with 12 impact points could lay a standard pattern of 2 b y 6 inches or an extended pattern 2 by 12 or 3 by 4.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Cheers,
Al.

Please refer to rules section 07.12.06. Establish the desired sheaf on the table before making your deviation cohesion rolls. Roll for each impact marker separately and remember to modify each of these die rolls by +2. You are not required to maintain your desired sheaf pattern On the contrary, it may be impossible to do so. This differs from tube artillery in that the deviation roll for tube artillery is made for the desired sheaf pattern as a whole with no +2 die roll penalty.
