Canadian/Australian Slat Armor

Post by tbeard1999 »

I hate the way slat armor looks.

Does the GHQ Leopard 2A6M CAN have the slat armor molded into the vehicle hull and turret? Or is it separate so that I can build the model without slat armor?

For the ASLAV, same question.

Hi,

from what I know the Slat-Armor is part of the mold, speaking about N550 Leopard 2A6M CAN. I have no idea if this is the case with N557 ASLAV as well.
If you do not like the Slat-Armor why don't you just buy N124 Leopard 2A6 and N68 LAV-25?

Cheers,
Benjamin

The Leopard 2A6 (without) or the Leopard 2A6 M Can (with built on slat-armor), which I happen to like. ASLAV-25, the turret has the slat-armor on it, the hull does not. My Aussies have both LAV25 and ASLAV25..
Working to get/trade for a few more ASLAV-25. If my Aussie are inserted into the BALZAC or Camastan region, the Aussies would be wiped out. So need to build up the assault force. May need a bit larger fleet with more Ro-Ro capability and fire support. Then need more to land for dominance.
Strategy Air dominance, Sea dominance, Land dominance! My Aussies do not have it yet. Great UN Peace Keeping force, not assault force. Not with 2 companies of M113AS4, 2 coys of M113, 3 coys of LAV-25 and other LAVs, and 3 coys of Bushmasters and 3 coys of M1A1 AIM (using M1A1 from GHQ). Need to add coy of ASLAV25, coy of M1A1 AIM and then fire support.
