Dead end naval base 1/2400

Post by nashorn88 »

Think I'm shelving this project .Maybe inspirational for someone else to make one.
Would be kinda cool if GHQ made naval base buildings ,cranes, etc.

I dig your naval base. I tried to make one for my fleet but it doesn't have any detail. I'm planning a second one and I'd like to do buildings, cranes, and other stuff like adjacent airfields. Where did you get the cranes and stuff, or did you scratch build them?

I just scratch built them. Not accurate or well made but it works.
Wish GHQ would make a harbor set.
Tug boats , barrages ,all those small craft you see in the harbor.

The Shapeways shop Masters of Military do 1/2400 cranes and other dockyard accessories.

Nashorn, I find your naval base inspirational; even envious to the point of wanting to carry out a sneak attack with ships I bought from you in the past!

The Brooklyn? class cruiser and WWII destroyer in this picture is are interesting additions.
