GHQ Server/Forum Issues?

Post by PolishGI »

Anyone else experiencing odd behavior with the forums tonight?

I am using IE, Edge and Chrome and everything is loading partial pages or no pages at all. F5 (Refresh) and nothing loads... Maybe the 4th or 5th time of refreshing you get a webpage to view/add/write.

Anyway, wasn't sure if it is time to restart the server/box that is hosting the forums, upgrade it or maintenance time for the forum database.

Cheers.

Monday morning and I haven't seen any of the problems you described.

Ok, thanks for the response. Hopefully, it is just me then.

Yeah, I don't know what happened either. I just cried out in terror when it kept displaying debug mode all weekend.

yea that was weird and when it came back on it reverted back to posts made late September to early October as if the posts we made recently never happened, looks like some rebuilding is in order to get things back on track.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! When it went down we immediately contacted our website development tech people, and told them about it. Unfortunately we don't have a tech team on staff. It took a few days, but ultimately they got it going again. We just contacted them, and told them about the missing posts/threads, and asked it they can rebuild it, and restore those. They are usually pretty good about things like this.

Thank you for your patience!

Thanks, guys. I've been feeling a bit deprived.

Excellent news! Thanks for looking into this matter and correcting it. Understood, IT as needed is much cheaper than someone on payroll.

Thanks again for the website and all of the products your create.

Any Idea on when the tech guys are going to bring the missing threads and posts back?

Should we assume that those features are not going to be fixed? Is GHQ trying to shepherd us to the Facebook page? I despise Facebook.
