Not yet, although I had a nosey around one at an armoured vehicles conference recently and they are a formidable piece of kit. Certainly the star of the show.

The demo videos they showed depicted the vehicle taking on terrain that looked impossible for something that size. Apparently it has quite sophisticated traction control and suspension system that facilitates it.

according to wikipedia (which is obviously never wrong) the M-ATV is taller by 9 inches.

Edit: (I don't think that includes the turret)

The model is most definitely "over-sized"; at least it is to scale with the infantry. . .*See following pictures of the life-size one . I stand corrected

yes, over-sized, again... :?

In my opinion scale is an important point of quality...for result i will not play with M-ATV :( and will not buy others...

iPhone pic to give an idea of scale from the arms fair I attended earlier this year:

Not sure on GHQ's scale as I don't have the m-atv model, but as you can see from the comparative size of the people standing next to it, these things are pretty large.

Upon viewing this photo I stand corrected. Looking at them and the pictures I took of them on the train they do not appear as large as when next to the people standing next to them . . .
Thanks for the true update.

Now lets put some of their "6mm" infantry next to the beast.

Can anyone tell me if there's an easy way to slot an RWS from a Stryker or similar vehicle into the turret ring of the M-ATV from GHQ?

Word on the street is Canada might be getting them with the RWS instead of the manned turret, so I was wondering how easy a conversion would be.

Thanks

If your refering to the TAPV, I really hope they go with the RG-35. That thing looks BAD ** CENSORED **!

Yes. TAPV.

RG35 RPU looks interesting but it might make more sense to get the MATV from a logistical stand point. I have a feeling they might get an M-ATV with an RWS and then use the rear deck to house an updated surv suite. Just my wild guess, unless they are going to re work the organizations of units once again.

So anyone think I can slot an RWS from a stryker on an M-ATV then? Any other turret options that might easily work for the vehicle?

Here's an example of a MARSOC vehicle
