Here are a few pics of my Bloody Lane at Antietam from Recon in Tampa. This is a scene from a developing, but eventually unsuccessful Union attack around 11:00A Game Time. Pic was taken by Danny Secary.

I know this thread isn't going away! But just to make sure...

Brand spanking new PzIIIs - they took at least three house moves to finish.

The season doesn't quite fit the camouflage, but I haven't got that far yet.

Mickel, ACWBill, excellent pictures!

if I may ask Mickel, where did the paper buildings in your pictures come from?

Gallery!!!

Post by Mage Knight Kevin »

Hi,

Does anyone else think that it's time for GHQ to start a gallery section on this web site? Sifting through 43 pages of posts for a particular half-remembered photo on this thread is a little cumbersome!

Come on GHQ, let's have it!

Best,
Kevin in Edmonton

P.S. Aplogies well in advance, if in fact this subject has been dealt with on this thread or somewhere else...it's just so tough to slog through the pages after being away for a while.

SO, What do you GHQ forum lurkers think about this? Actually, I've already done it for personal amusement, but have not made it public.

I've archived this particular thread and posted a static version of it on my website as of about a week ago. Its in a directroy you won't find easily, but its there. I've hidden it because I thought some might feel I've stolen their stuff. In addition to a full copy of this thread, I have a folder with all of the images that can be browsed. I've found it inspiring and look through it for painting ideas. I can make it public, so people don't have to browse through all of its pages, but this probably would go against GHQ's policies. What do you think?

These images, in this thread and others (especially the scratch build) are to me, the best advertisements for GHQ products.

I see things here and think I want some of that - or I should give that a go and hence go off and buy some more.

Eye candy sells - so I think it would be a very good commercial development if there was a gallery.

I was at the Kublacon gaming con this past weekend. CG Erickson and I ran a battle in
the open gaming area, using his terrain boards and Germans, and my Soviets. We had
set it up so that any walk-ups could get in the game fairly easily (I'll be doing a write-up
with pics in my AAR thread).

One fellow was hanging around looking at all the eye-candy, and made a comment to me
about how much better CG's tanks and my tanks looked than his. I whipped out a couple
of my T-34s for him to inspect closely. We talked a bit about how I paint them up. He
asked where I learned to do all that.

I told him to go to two places: Fester Platz Ritterkrieg ( ), and GHQ.com. Told him
to look here in the forum for the "Show us yer stuff" thread. Said if he wanted
inspiration AND information, this was the place to go!

Now I suppose I should also recommend folks to go to Thunder's repository! My oh my,
Thunder, my friend, have managed to assemble what is, in fact, a wonderful pictorial
documentary on the "art" of micro-armor!
