Please redo the infantry! I've got way too many officers and not enough riflemen.
I agree with the comments about the figures being too "static." I've seen other peoples' Adler figures, and although they are a little out of scale, they are just more pleasing to look at. Plus, you can tell the difference from one nationality to the next, which is key factor when viewing them from three or four feet away!

Bill,
No, I haven't tried any 10mm yet. As far as cast miniatures go, I am primarily a 1:285 scale armor and 1:1200 / 1:1250 and 1:6000 scale ship guy.
The 1:6000's are a story into and of themselves... at one time, I was really in to Avalanche Press' Great War at Sea system -- still have them and love them! -- and got the 1:6000's to substitute miniatures for their wonderful counters (no sarcasm, they are magnificent!!). Actually, I was pleasantly surprised at just how recognizible many, if not most, of the ships are even in that small scale!
At one time, I also got in to a sci-fi role-playing game (GDW's "Traveller"), and got a bunch of their minis -- I think they were 15mm, if I recall correctly. I had a bunch of fun with them -- they're still in a box somewhere around here, if my dear wife hasn't thrown them out in one of her periodic "get rid of this junk" phases...
I painted a few sci-fi minis for my son -- don't know the scale, I'm guessing around 20mm -- and had fun with them, too. And I painted 1:35 scale (about 54mm??) plastic figures (Tamiya) when I was in my 1:35 scale armor-building phase...
But never got into 10mm, nor anything "earlier" than say about WW I, with a few exceptions on some of my ships.
Unfortunately, there's only so little time for my hobby activities... and even less "hobby dollars"!!
But maybe... someday... I've seen your pictures, and I see those wonderful Civil War artillery pieces in GHQ's catalog... it's awfully tempting!!
Regards,
Tom
