Has anybody used the rules "Victory at Sea"? If so what do you think?

Aren't they using the name of a TV series? I avoided this name even though it is the first name I though of to avoid a letter from the trademark holder.

Re: Naval game- Victory at Sea
I have, it is a quick simple set of rules. Don't expect too much from them, they don't cover everything, but enough for a quick battle. We used GHQ 1:2400 ships with no problems at all. The counters are generic silouettes with a German script that is hard to read, and the ship list is woefully incomplete. Anyone familiar with thier B5 rules will notice they are the same core rules. The ship ratings need work, obviously the authors intent was to produce the rules, he hasn't done much naval research. They can be ajusted however.jb wrote:Has anybody used the rules "Victory at Sea"?
