Turrets - to glue, or not to glue?

I'm glad to hear it works for others as well. The simplest method works best for me. I have to admit that it's not as "neat" looking from underneath though

Thanks! I have until now always glued my turrets but I've been contemplating change. With over 2,300 tanks to redo I'm looking for something fast and cheap as well as effective.

Hey all.

I dunno if this was mentioned or not but I found a great, cheap and easy (like we grogs like it!) method for the retention of turrets...

Toilet bowl wax seals.

Yum!

er...NEW seals!

I believe the seal is made of beeswax, never hardens, doesn't seem to affect the paint and is super tacky but smoothly rotates. I have been using it for a few months with no ill effects.

I simply put a VERY small dab on the hull beside the turret locating hole, add the turret and spin to win! Try not to put too much as you do not want to have the stuff squish out from the bottom of the turret. Its amazing how little you need.
