I`d like to know what the new posed German figures will look like and if GHQ will be doing the same for the other nations infantry. Will GHQ produce in the future tankers both with and w/o helmets, berets etc for all the nations with tanks?
I`d like to ask Ritter or Cama or anybody for that matter what does the Kangaroo vehicle look like inside when used as a personnel carrier during the war? I`d like to place infantry inside and I know that they could carry aabout 11 men inside but, how did they stand (inside the veh.? I`ve been in Shermans and I can`t see how 11 men plus 2 crewmen can fit comfortably.
1/285 scale infantry

Also remember that an orbat isn't the same as what shows up in the field. Casualty rates in NWE for UK/Commonwealth forces were high (for infantry units in particular), so a rifle section probably wasn't too pressed for space inside a Kangaroo. Even in a low-intensity conflict you will be missing a lot of warm bodies up front. My old regt is sending a recce troop on a rotation to Afghanistan next year, my understanding is that they're going there over-manned by 30% so that they can make up for all the guys that are sick/injured/on leave.

At the time of the Ram Kangaroos' introduction the average size of an infantry section was 8 men, and remained at that level until the end of the war. There was a real shortage of infantry replacements for UK and CDN units. AFAIK the only modifications to the interior of the vehicle to accommodate passengers (after removing the turret, basket, and ammo bins) was to cover the driveshaft to prevent anyone becoming entangled. No seats fitted as far as I have been able to determine. The problem with putting passengers into the ghq model is that the passenger compartment is simply a hole bored in the roof of the vehicle and does not replicate the hollow space under the corners of the roof outside of the turret ring. This makes things somewhat more crowded than the real thing. If you want to put passengers in the ram kangaroo use the UK armored infantry (seated) or the UK infantry (squad stands - cut apart as needed). This is what I do and it works pretty good. The individual infantry, while having more animated poses, is way oversized for this purpose.
Lots of good ram kangaroo pics in this forum thread :
