thenorthman,
I agree that an error of 6 1:2400 feet of hull length will probably not be noticable in most contexts. I would hope that the model maker would still try to get it right, however, and for all I know, they did. I would probably have been better off to sticking to my main point.
And that main point was that anyone who thinks that GHQ's H-class and E-class DDs are "practically identical" with respect to the issue I mentioned, is entitled to their opinion, but is probably not qualified to comment on my original post. The funnels on the H are reasonable-looking compared to the bridge, while those on the E look low (or the bridge looks high). I's ok to say you don't care, but not ok to say it isn't so!!

The list looks okay to me. My only request is PLEASE finish the currently released Napoleonic lines before starting something new.
For example, the Prussians are missing Jager infantry, Lancers, Landwher Cav, and maybe some Generals. Add those and you have probably 90-95% coverage. Same with most of the other nations.

Dang nabbit!
That means part of my argument to my wife for me to get that large order is now going to be neglected because I'll have to get the Vietnam Barracks...watch towers...I said it would hold me over for a very long time!
I WANT EVERYTHING!!!
Oh well, I am sure she knows as well that a very long time for me is like maybe a month...heck since I have made that order of $1500 I have added yet two more around $100 for more stuff!
Such is life. I have no selfcontrol!!! (When it comes to games!)
Oh and I do not know how many times I have looked at the New Release schedule and even order an extra pack of one of the existing helicopters because I was going to do a conversion to make the Gazzelle (or at least a close aproximation) and I just noticed they are releaseing one.

All of our new releases are listed with specific release dates in our catalog. In almost all cases it is the last day of the month. Often times we have some of the models ready before the end of the month, and we list them on our website as soon as they are ready. UK-91 AEC Mk. III is listed as August 31, 2007.

Check out the new items listing here on the GHQ website. I believe you will find your AEC III is up and ready to go!Tread Head wrote:Exactly what part of the month of release do those new items get posted? I want the UK AEC III, its slotted for august.
Looks cool, too. Nice pic. Who painted the model? C'mon now boys, don't be shy. Fess up!

There are some nit-picking details like the German M-48A2 has only three return rollers, the Bundeswehr didn't use the "improved" higher profile commander's cupola of the A3 and the majority of the 90mm guns had the straight muzzel brake instead of the "T". If you don't want the upgunned version offered by the other guys then the original GHQ M-48 offering (N17) is a better match as far as the hull and running gear are concerned. Of course you have to deal with the fact that you only get two 90mm turrets in the pack. That M48 would be useful for Budeswehr units in a Central Front game as well
