On a more serious note ...
It is a cleanser. Claims to work on kitchen appliances, wood furniture, and windows. I use it to clean my rifles after firing corrosive WarPac mil surplus ammo. Never thought to use it for stripping paint off of micros before. Learn something new every day around here. (Well, OK, sometimes I learn something old, but it's new to me!)
You can buy it in most grocery stores on the cleansers aisle.

Read the post, bought some at WalMart, tried it, and it works great.
Don't need to wait 24hrs, I waited maybe 2 1/2 and it worked!!
Ought to put on the label, "Strips paint on microarmor, get the "HUGE" wargaming public!!
Stuff worked better then oven cleaner. No smell, no chance of burning the skin, and yes, the oder ain't bad! A bottle should last a life time. At least for those of us who are not endowed with the skills of the painting Demi Gods!
Who thinks up these ideas?

Simple Green is the winner! All the paint that the acetone couldn't remove is just falling off after 24hrs in Simple Green. As I said before I didn't paint these so I don't know what kind of paint it is but Simple Green is just eating it up.

I haven't tried it on anything but metal but I would guess that since it is just a multi-purpose multi-surface cleaner it should be okay. But its just a guess.

I've used Simple Green for years. The problem I have is that my wife found out how well it cleans everything in the house, and is great for the environment as well. Now I can't keep enough of it in the house!
