It's pretty cool. That's some recoil though. I wonder how many rounds that thing can fire before the crew gets a little slap-happy. I chuckled at eh scene where the CO is firing at teh BMP with the 50 cal. Why the 50 cal.? :)

Still, knocking down buildings with that thing is a whole lot more practical than using a TOW missile or an Abrams tank. I think it's a worthwhile weapon system.

I can't remember where I saw it at, but I heard that it wasn't properly field tested yet and that the troops do enjoy having it around, there are still some kinks to work out. Am I mistaken on this part? :?

According it my contact with 3/2ID, the 4/2ID is the first unit to deploy them in the combat zone. There are some air conditioning and ventilation issues, and the recoil isn't quite as low as was hoped for. But you have to admit, it's a heck of a way to knock on someone's door. :D
