GHQ seems to average about a dozen new Micronaut releases per year, so your list of four, five and six mentions would satisfy the new releases for the coming year. If those were the new releases, I would be a very happy camper!

I would also be satisfied if the top twelve were selected by GHQ, even though only three of my personal picks are in the top dozen.

In the past (about two years that I have been active in this), GHQ has been pretty good in their choices. Usually they cover three or four of the top popular vote getters and then throw in a few surprises.

We'll have to wait a few more months until the 2008-2009 selections are announced. Until then, I am still soliciting votes for favorite Micronauts.

After the 2008-2009 selections are announced, I will modify the list as appropriate and then start over for 2009-2010.

Wish list

Post by suisse6 »

My wish list is rather short:

WWII:

Germany:

Hipper class CA
Scheer/Deutchland CA (either would be fine as long as it has the clipper bow)
T22 class
S boats
Carl Peters (S-boat tender/took part in invasion of Norway)
AMC (any of them)
Gneisenau (with 15" guns, you could mix and match with extras from Scharnhorst although the other guys make a decent model)
M class CL (crazy pipe dream but at least they were laid down and Germany is light on CLs)

Italy:

Pola CA (as stated elsewhere)
Merchant ship

UK:

Prince of Wales (again for the reasons stated elsewhere)

Dutch:

K1 class gunboat (used by both the dutch and later the Germans as a small destroyer)

Spain or Norway:

Anything, however I understand that they were not actually involved in the war, but could have been. Norway's two coastal battleships could be interesting for Narvik scenarios.

Modern:

MEKO 360 class DD (Argentina, Nigeria)
Charles de Gaulle CVN
Veinticinco de Mayo CV (just the generic class would be fine, maybe with an addon ski juup to do the Vikrant as well)
OSAII's (so widespread I think my neighbor may have one)

Okay not so short, darn these "wish" lists.
