How about a tank detail kit?

Post by hauptgrate »

I just finished scratch-building some cullen hedgerow cutters on some of my M4s, and was wondering if anybody else would like GHQ to put out a detail kit which would include such items. I would like to see individual jerry cans -- no need to distinguish between slightly different national types in 1/285 scale, several different sized boxes and crates, rolled tarps, logs and lumber, small facines, rolls of barbed wire, extra road wheels from the common vehicle types, lenths of track from the standard vehicle types, as well as some generic hedgerow cutters. I think one kit covering German, US, and British (Russian tanks seemed to have rarely carried extra equipment) would do the trick. Anybody else think so? Oh, how about a few upper torso figures for those who want to have exposed commanders?

On the same note, how about an infantry accessories kit? Ammo crates of different sizes, tables, spare weapons, helmets, packs, tents, bedrolls....
I wish I had something witty to say...

Make it generic enough for either WWII or Modern (twice the utility) and I'm in as well.

When it comes to special packs for detailing count me in!

I'd also like to see photo-etch masts for the ships and decals for flight decks.

Pleaaaaase!

Yes...I'd rather not have to continue scratch building the stuff. Definitely would like to have the upper torso figures...gotta crew those vehicles!

Heck yeah, anything to allow me to customize my vehicles and allow them to look more battle like with all the stowage strapped aboard would be great. It would really help differentiate all the minis as well - as much as I like having five Panthers, they all look almost exactly the same.

I'll throw in my 2 cents, yes to both armor and infantry detail sets. Could dress up my Marines, Strykers (I've started my own company), and my Israelis. Count me in for several sets. :D

I'd love to see these things added in!

It would allow a lot of variety in my models and would be an easy add-in when an order is placed.
