Does anybody know if the NH90 is already being used by the Australians in Afghanistan? Come to think of it, do they even have an aviation contingent in place?

Just bought the Taliban Combat Command yesterday, so A'stan games are beginning to become a possibility here.

Hi,
as far as I know the NH90 will be "combat ready" around... end 2011/ beginning of 2012 here. Probably before for Australian forces.
I do not think Australian Jets are now in Afghanistan, but my infos are 4 months old.
CH 47 are mentioned in support units.
Back the Combat Command mentioned : show us your stuff when ready !

Being not on this quest 24/7...I may have missed some materials.
Ex. for the British army:
Spartan and Warriors were not listed so far , but they have been deployed,and pics are available.
Idem for Pinzgauer "Vector".
I wonder if some of the following are/were used in Afghanistan too :
Scimitar,
Sanson
Samaritan
Sultan
Fv423 Bulldog
Engineers armoured vehicles
If someone here has an idea, ...thanks !

Hi,

referring the British Forces I can add some info:

BvS 10 with Bar-Armour
Scimitar (with EPBA and other "special fittings")
Land Rover 110XD WMIK (including modified version)
M270 (G)MLRS (recently fitted with EPBA and other "specials")
MLRS-based ARRV (recently fitted with EPBA and other "specials")
Diverse trucks, lots being fitted with armoured cabines etc...

Resurrected this one for the following :
Germany : Marder
France : improved VAB, 155mm GCT SPH, AMX10 RC ;
Helicopter "Tigre" will be deployed there in the beginning of June 2009.
