Everyone- The topic line says it all. The Wehrmacht '47 models are now listed on the New Items Webpage, as well as Late War Individual German Infantry and Heavy Weapons. No photos at the time of this post.

Picture of E75 is in place and she looks like a super strong Tiger. I cannot wait to get my hands on this model and compare it to E100 and the smaller E50.
I think the boys (and girls?) at GHQ have this right by releasing some of the smaller e-series along with the larger e-series tanks. There may yet be more tanks and certainly panzer jagers, and assault guns, to go through.
My congrats to GHQ for a great concept.

What is the main gun of the E-75 TigerIII ? Is it a 88mm, a 128mm, or something else?

If one looks at the E100 model, it's main gun seems much smaller than the one on E75.
E100 was to have carried a 128/55 or upgunned to a 150/ mount. Would the GHQ staff let us know what size the gun shown on the model is? A 170mm?

Just ordered the entire '47 lineup including the Nightfighter Kampfgrupe. If someone will give me instructions on posting pictures I'll get some pictures (unpainted) up after the goodies arrive.

....I find it difficult to believe that the fuehrer would have settled for the same size gun carried in the Jagtiger. In addition, the scale of the gun in the E75 model makes it appear larger than the 128/55.
If it is the 128/55 or 61, then the guns mounted in the E100 and MAUS need to be enlarged, i.e. a new turret made either with the hole pre-drilled or an entire turret.
I will see when I recieve my E75 (4 packs). I start out with a reinforced company as usual. Bob

One source to which I referred indicated that the E-75 was intended to receive the 10.5 cm KWK L/63. This is a nice upgrade from the 8.8 cm carried by Tiger II (and intended for the E-50) while not intruding into the 12.8 cm to be mounted in the E-100.

Comparison in photos may be misleading. The gun shown in the g539 photo certainly looks larger, but this is in comparison to the chassis of the tank. The hull of the E-100 was significantly more massive than that of the E-75. The length of the 63-caliber 10.5 cm gun would make it just as long as the 55-caliber 12.8 cm and longer than that of the lower-velocity 15 cm gun.

Although the 10.5 cm gun never came into fruition, it sounds like a good deal to me (especially considering the numerous 105 mm tank guns mounted by US, UK, German, etc. in the post-war years.

Thanks for the info on the 105mm gun. There was also a 100mm gun/70 under development but I am not sure of the source. If the E75 was significantly faster than the Tiger II and Jagdtiger, then the 105mm gun would have been worth the drop in shell weight (penetration power) which was minimal anyway.
I am most curious about the speeds of all of the released Wehrmacht '47 vehicles. It would seem the Germans would have switched to all tracked APC's, SPGs, and scouting vehicles due to the terrible mud of the Russian terrain in Spring, Summer and Fall and then the disastrous cold of the Winter. I am sure the SdKfz 251 series were not bad for the terrrain but I am sure the Wehrmacht needed better traction, for example the
Raupenschlepper all track supply trucks adopted late war.

Ugh, sorry about the poor joke. In remarking about the apparently smaller gun in the E100 model, I forgot about the fact that molding can affect the size of barrel you can put on a "smaller" piece. The E75 has a separate barrel (like the Panther II) which can be fitted into the turret.
I ordered some cavalry, both German and Cossack to put a touch of Charge of the Light Brigade against the Russkies. Of course, someone blundered, into the valley of death rode the 600 but my 600 will be made up of the latest panzergruppen and the like.

I have the following 'data' for the E-75:

10.5cmL56 gun firing APCBC, APCR, APDS (1952+)
speed: 40kmh road, 18kmh cross-country
estimated armour (in vertical cm equivalents) turret: 23cm-10cm-10cm
hull: 25cm-10cm-10cm (front-side-rear)
these may be conservative estimates.
coax MG, bow MG, internal grenade launcher with the unpronouncable name

estimated armour penetration (vertical cm equivalent)
10.5cm APCBC: 23cm at 100m
10.5cm APCR: 29cm at 100m (wiil drop off at high rate)
10.5cm APDS: 33cm at 100m (low drop off rate, eg 31cm at 1000m)

Other sources indicate the fitting of 12.8cmL55 gun, as in JagdTiger
12.8cm APCBC: 22cm at 100m (for comparison purposes)
