Tom,

Thank you for reminding me about the S-Tank. It is an unusual tank and has been one of my favorite tanks. I will add that to my list. I have a few minatures from another company that I enjoy gaming with them.

I see plenty of selling opportunities here with different helmets : German (Stalingrad, Tunisia...), Soviet, ...Italian..., British (Tobruk, Singapore, ...; Bataan, Corregidor, Mac Arthur being not back yet), US (Schnee Eiffel, figs in greatcoats of course :-)),
Here I would love to see all the characters from the Great Escape, Steve Mac Queen on his bike included !

Not sure about what you mean by :

If this refers to figs in djellabas, they were not the bulk of the infantry and they wore the US helmet of WWI (not the British one).
More useful, and more representative would be figs in US battledress with Adrian helmets, . GHQ needs only two different masters for each individual inf. packs as you can mix these figs in Adrian helmets with the existing US infantry in the same units.
To these GHQ may add figs in berets (commandos, FFL), figs in US battledress with British helmet.

Also : about Germany in the 60's : more versions of the Hotchkiss Spz.

Can I add my suggested Top 10 for the next year to the list? I'm sure some of these might be very popular and yes, Matilda Is for me too!

UK Bailey Bridge + Extensions (perhaps two packs - one with ends, a centre piece and pontoons and a second with extra centre pieces & pontoons)
UK WWII Engineers - laying mines/detecting/probing for mines, generic building poses, demolition etc
UK Bedford MWG 15cwt or similar with Lewis/Bren AA or Groundmount Bren/Lewis AA that could fit
UK Churchill Engineer Pack - Mine Plough A, Bobbin & Fascine

I like that one from CG1.

This is a must do for GHQ.
A Churchill pack in the same genre as the Sherman accessory pack.
Including Mine Plough, Bobbin Fascine and a Crocodile trailer.

I think that one could be a good seller if the Crocodile was included.

Not entirely. I've been watching his long stream of auctions as they showed up on e-bay...
I don't think it's practical to "jump ship" myself, but I'm anxious to see how late the Hungarian inf. & other April stuff is; and what next years release list looks like...

Your post about selling a few months back caused me to re-evaluate my own collection of micro armor which I have been collecting over the last 20 years or so (my great god - has it really been that bloody long!?) The time spent painting vs enjoyment of the hobby of 6mm gaming and I discovered that the hours that I could put into a 6mm model could never really be appreciated on the game table.

Also, I have been getting kind of bummed by the lack of some much needed staples of WWII that are not currently available and the amount of time needed to scratchbuild them and decided that I am tired of waiting.

I look forward to the announcement of the new items that GHQ will be doing for 2009 - 2010. I also look forward to the U.S. anti tank weapons pack.
Ritter and Cama - Are you guys really going to sell your GHQ collections? That would be a great loss to the hobby to have both you guys leave. You guys will be greatly missed. I know I have some of the same small frustrations about not having some of the models I would really like to see and having my requests "ignored" year after year. Having said that, I do get a lot of satisfaction from completing a full unit and using that unit on the game table. My hope is that eventually GHQ will get around to doing the models I requested and in many cases they have. Most recently they did the M4A1 Sherman for the U.S. and the AEC ACV Dorchester, a great addition in my case for my North Africa games.
My current favorite request is for the M4A3 Sherman - early version with the vision blocks and split hatch turret that was common in Normandy. My belief is that this is a must have for this period. Currently, GHQ makes a later version with cupola and redesigned glacis that came out later. In my case, since I am working on North Africa right now, I have plenty to do to keep me busy for the next few months at least. Then I will be probably be returning to the Russian Front to do some more stuff there - vehicles and infantry I already have in my fairly vast unpainted micro armor collection. Ritter and Cama ,I do hope that you guys do get your wish for the Matilda I. I know for doing the BEF in 1940 it is almost a must have. It is especially important for doing Arras.
I hope you guys will stick it out in 6 mm GHQ. If you ever have occasion to visit the Phoenix area, let me know and I will be happy to make time for you. Have a great day!

Where were the carriers?

I would like to see some Naval Strike Aircraft. How about some modern attack planes like the A6A/A6B Intruder, A4 Skyhawk, A7 Corsair for Viet Nam, A6E Intruder with or without TRAM Pod for the coldwar/Gulf War era?
As far as that goes WWII Naval attack aircraft would be neat, SBD Dauntless', Avengers, Helldivers, Corsairs would probably be welcomed by all those allied troops that were fighting in the Pacific. Japanese Vals and Kates, etc.
And for those Whermacht 47 people out there...FOO FIGHTERS camoflaged as Matilda I's. :wink:
