Congratulations on the new baby Thomas. Sometimes life gets in the way of our hobbies  . It looks like we have gotten through this very amicably. As a couple of previous posters have noted, we try to keep a nice, clean, informative, and fun atmosphere on our forum, and we wouldn't be able to maintain that without all of you!

Thank you all for your support,
GHQ

Gentlemen, after considerable thought I've figured out a way to accomplish what I thought the spirit of this forum was all about, in a way that doesn't violate GHQ's expressed wishes about their forum's content. I understand it is their property that they can control, ...and even though I disagree with the policy of prohibiting links designed to improve our collective knowledge base I have arrived at a solution that overcomes my objection in a way that doesn't violate their control of our posts.

Thank you all for this frank and informative discussion... Will

I by no means am attempting to start a flame war here, but as I see it isn't an acceptable work around to just put something like "I have used ________ effectively, and it can be purchased at _______." into a post that describes a product and where to buy it? Then let the reader do a search for it in a search engine if they are really interested in buying it. It seems like that would fit what our hosts have laid out, and make it really easy for anyone to follow up on any product sugestions. Anyone? GHQ? Am I just not getting something because this seems too easy?
