I decided this time to list the surface ship classes ( DE & up ) still missing representation. With the advent of the 47 Germans in 1/285, lets do the just missed ships as well. I'll add to the post as time permits for each navy. If I miss one let me know and I will add them.

Additional US ships of WWII that are missing from GHQ's lineup:
CVE-30, USS Charger
BB-61. USS Iowa (differs from other in the bridge area)
BB-46, USS Maryland (late-war appearance with twin 5"/38 mounts)
BB-42, USS Idaho (late-war appearance with enclosed single 5"/38 mounts)
CL(AA)-119 USS Juneau class
Early-war versions of most destroyer classes befored they sacrificed torpedo tubes for increased AA.
DD Cassin and Downes, as rebuilt after Pearl Harbor
DD Clemson/Wickes class retaining all four funnels but with 6x1 3" AA guns and only 2x3 21" torpedo tubes (the most common appearance of these classes during WWII)
Numerous amphibious types
Numerous auxiliary types
Since you mentioned Wermacht '47, you might also include some of the designs that were later or even abandoned at the end of WWII - such as a follow-on for the Juneau and Gearing classes with 5"/54 and 3"/70 mounts in place of 5"/38 and 40mm. The cruiser (known as "Scheme C") was never built. The destroyer eventually appeared as the DL-2 Mitscher class. There was also a suggestion for a heavy cruiser (Alaska-sized hull with four triple 8" semi-automatic mounts - as on Des Moines class). Many older destoryers were converted into radar pickets or specialized anti-submarine vessels.

BB Malaya for the British is kind of a big ommission, as are some of the Italian DD classes and French cruisers (e.g. Tourville and Primauguet.) I'd like to see some of the British DL's as well (Scott, Shakespeare, Hardy etc.)
From a gaming perspective I'd like to see these far more than hypothetical or very late/post war ships
