Hello
Does anyone know of a good, high quality, painting service for 1/2400 ships in ww1 and 2.
I am aware of the "My wife paints ships" service and though her work is very good, it's not quite what I'm looking for. Just a notch or two higher in quality level (lines are straight instead of squiggly etc.)
Thanks so much in advance, it seems that there are very limited choices in this area.
1/2400 WW1 and WW2 painters wanted

There is a seller on eBay - leopold21558 - who frequently lists extremely well-painted 1/2400 GHQ models. You can search for his seller ID to get an idea of the quality of work he does since each item has a photo, then contact him if you don't see anything listed that you are looking for. I don't know if he would take on a commission painting specific ships for a fixed fee, rather than putting them up for auction, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I am actually looking for quality similar to those seen on the GHQ website (catalog section).
It could be a notch down from that but something close to it.
Something like this (and he does not take commissions)

The guys name is Mark Lundberg and he does do commissioned jobs, I had him do my carriers as their a bit beyond me at this point. I play with the resin ones but send him the GHQ ones. Fairly reasonable and he can either paint yorus or provide the ship as well. I usually print out the schemes and ship them to him with the ships. I got some DD's back with the penant numbers on them. He told me they were a bugger to do, I didn't even know they were on the photo LOL. I do my own now up to CLs so far, but I highly recommend him if you haven't the time or just don't want to screw up your 16 dollar carrier. Buzz me and I''ll get you his email.

I am also interested in finding someone to paint some ships. I don't need a lot, and they are going to be used just for display- no gaming. They are for my father-in-law. With this in mind, I am mostly interested in really high quality, and am willing to pay for it...within reason. I have heard about the guys wife who paints ships (I have also heard that she may not be doing that any longer), and I think that they look good, but too dark. Does anyone know of a high quality naval painting service? If you have any photos, prices, etc., that would be great! I want to keep this in the USA, I can only imagine what the finished ships may look like after getting bounced around in international shipping.
Thanks
Thanks
