Hey folks!

First of all - please excuse my sometimes "extraordinary" english. MTV and belletristic litarture have not left much of my good schools-english. But we´ll make due, wont we? (Was´at right? ^^ )

Okay, i read the list of new miniatures for 2010 and have to say: I´am a bit sad. I know it´s a bit symptomatically for players to collect the armys of their own country, but as a former german soldier i am really connected to the Bundeswehr in a special way.
What makes me sad is this: the division in which i served was the "Division Luftbewegliche Operationen" aka Airmobile Division. A great experience and perhaps the most integrated kind of battlegroups so far in Germany. But the armoured backbone of the "Jäger" and "Fallschirmjäger" (Airmobile Infantry and Paratroopers) is missing in your product range.

"Wiesel" & "Ozelot" are such a great idea and look as good as effektive they are. The Wiesel is such a great platform for any kind of weapon and task and i think they could really be an interesting choice in the game.

I would like to see them... ^^

Did you earn the 'von' title, or who did? Very nice. One Field Marshall, von Manstein, was quite capable, probably your best Field Marshall.

The Wiesel is able to be deployed in TOW and 20mm, I have not made any command vehicles. I was able to pick them up. Go airmobile, then have a nice force in the enemy rear area. In that sense, similar to BMD for the Russians/Soviets and to the M551.

^^ No no, the "von" is just kind´a coping of an inferioraty complex. Germany had´ some struggles with their monarchy in the past and i´am glad our Minster of Defense (von Gutenberg) is propably one of the better ones.

The "Wiesel" has many varietys. Since 2002 the Budneswehr is equipt with "Wiesel MK II".

I've kit bashed some of these using the Vickers lt tank from WWII as a starting point but would gladly buy dozens of them if GHQ makes 'em.

Another airborne vehicle I would like produce is the Kraka lightweight transport. Yes I know some of you think it looks like a golfcart from hell. But, during the 60s, 70s and thru the 80s. It served as great platform from mounting 20mm support gun, Milan ATGWs, troop and supply carrier as well. I have a few from a another minis manufacturer. And find that its versitility is great. Thumps Up for German engineering!

Another interesting airborne vehicle - Soviet Luaz-967M called TPK (front line transporter).
It's amphibious and fits into MI-8 internally. Served as a platform for MG's, AGS-17 grenade launcher, ambulance etc.. Still in use.
