Normandy terrain building

Post by mluther »

I'm running a couple of Operation Epsom games and thought I would create a flickr set showing how I put the table together.

Most of the techniques in this could be applied to any game.

Hi Mark

That is a really great tutorial. I alway enjoy looking at your stuff in your excellent AAR's. I may "borrow" some of your techniques, especially for the fields and bocage. Thanks for sharing. Great research as well!

That's a great tutorial, mluther! Thanks for putting it together and showing it to us!

For those who have not been tempted to hit that link by just these typed words, take a gander at this:

mluther - are the green sheets just like bedding sheets or just a type of green cloth?

Doug,

The sheet is an old bedsheet. It was dyed green and has been resprayed with cheap Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace hardware... cans of paint several times over the last decade.
