One of the advantages of building a Romanian force is that you can use a wide variety of vehicles. Romania itself actually had relatively little industry, so there was not much that they made. But there was a lot that they used.
Soviet GAZ trucks were captured in pretty large numbers during the openning months of Barbarossa, and were rather prized by the Romanians. So also were the Stalinetz gun tractors. Both were used throughout the war, because there was a Ford plant in Romania that build spare parts for their engines and drive trains.
The French UE prime mover was one vehicle that was built in Romania, as the "Malaxa".
All of these items are in the GHQ catalog.
So also any of a number of German or French trucks can be used by Romanian forces. France was a supplier pre-war, and the Germans provided numerous light and medium vehicles during the war.
Other than that, about the only land-vehicle I know of that the Romanians built was a Fiat light truck. I think. Could be wrong on that.
The bigger problem is AT guns. We can use the Italian Breda 47mm AT gun for the Bohler gun used by the Romanians. This gun served in the infantry regiments throughout the war, first as their main frontline AT gun, later as an "infantry gun".
The Bofors 37mm gun (available on the Polish list) can also serve, but this gun and the 47mm Bohler were really only frontline AT weapons through about 42. After that the Bofors pretty much dis-appeared.
Pak 38s and Pak 40s were used, but only in small numbers by specific units.
The Pak 97/38 was used in large numbers from late 42 through the end of the war. GHQ does not make this gun, but another vendor does.
The Romanians eventually built their own 75mm AT gun, call the M1943 "Resita". This gun saw service in increasing numbers in 1944 and 45. So far only one UK vendor seems to make a model, and it is hardly worth considering. A GHQ Resita would be very nice.
What we really need is a Schneider 47mm gun. This gun was used in fairly large numbers by the Romanians from the beginning of the war, and served on through the mid-war up into 1944. Unfortunately no one makes a model of this gun.
The R1 tankette is an interesting vehicle, but it was only used in small numbers early in the war by the cavalry/recon forces. More interesting to me would be Romanian cavalry! Their cavalry forces were often mentioned by the Germans as the most reliable of the Romanian forces, and given the sparcity of automotive power they were also the most mobile force that the Romanians had. It would be nice to have some Romanian cavalry. Maybe even with some riderless horses and horse-holders, as most often they fought on foot (most Romanian cavarly troops did not even carry sabres or other weapons for mounted combat).
