Well, you have 28 pages of AARs in that topic, so I don't know what more you want. I guess if people have more interesting games, they would probably post it in there.
Making a nice AAR is not some 2 minute stuff.

Doing AAR's do take a lot of time and effort. The last one I posted was over a month ago but the game actually took place in January of this year. I was very forunate that the game was photograped by Chris, aka Thunder, and he took over 70 pictures. Chris is a great photographer by the way so my job was to narrow down the vast array of pictures to just over 20 to make an AAR that was hopefully interesting but not too long or excessively detailed (Read Boring).
After narrowing down the number of pictures to use, I developed the text of the AAR giving the situation, the forces, and the overall flow of eventd of the game. I put captions under each of the pictures to help identify how they fit into the narrative of the game.
I have done AAR's for the Army in one of my former real life occupations as an Armor Officer. These were done right after the tactical exercise was completed and I acted as a facilitator to get the troops to talk about what went right and what went wrong with the exercise from a tactica point of view. I have done some of this after my games to get feedback on how I can make my games better and to ensure that everyone that played had a good time.
One thing I don't really enjoy is reading an AAR without any pictures. Some of these seem to get longwinded without any visual references. I don't see any on this forum but occasionally they appear on TMP and some others. I do enjoy the AAR's on this forum provided by Mark Luther and MK1 and also by ACW Bill. To me, these provide good examples of the types of AARs I like to see.

I do the same. I ask for sustains and improves at the end of the game, to get a feel for what people want me to keep doing, and what they'd rather do without.
Its a sniper rifle, not a "sniper"! You don't call an assault rifle an "assault"!

Well start on THIS PAGE and start going backwards. I see at least two modern games on that page alone (including mine which has pictures) and there should be more in between all of the WWII and ACW games in the thread if you look. That is the main thread where people post their game AARs, and I highly doubt they are going to double post their AARs, so check there.
