The Citadel (Game store)

Post by gunbunny »

ALL,

If your in the NE of the USA, check out this store. They have a good amount of GHQ, and one thing, they DO NOT REPRICE IT AS TIME GOES ON, as in the stuff they bought when it was 6.95,7.95,8.95 a pack is still priced that way on the shelf. The new stuff he orders is priced at 9.95. Its like a a sale all the time. I asked the owner about it and he said he likes just to get people in the store and the practice has worked, since he has been in operation for 22 years I guess he is on to something. I picked up many a pack over the past two months at major discount prices (last was some 45mm Russian ATG's for 6.95 just today).

Citadel, Groton, CT

Im in Maine and there are NO hobby stores around here..... sounds like it might be worth the drive to check it out.

I'll second the endorsement of The Citadel. I'm in VA now, but am from CT, and still try to hit the place once a year for an expensive trip.

As for Maine, back in the 1990s, when I went to school there, there was a kick-butt shop in Bath, right near the Iron Works. Don't know if it is still there, but it was a good shop.
