2011/2012 GHQ list???

Post by RobertTown »

Does anyone know when that is supposed to come out? Iwould like to make some suggestions of new modern equipment, such as the whole like of LMTV trucks and trailers and maybe even some M-915a5 and M-916's with trailers for logistical support. Some HEMITT's with trailers?

The 2010-2011 releases were posted May 21 (the thread is still up in the "sticky" section). This is typical of recent years.

If you have suggestions for new GHQ figures, post them now. My understanding is that the powers that be within GHQ start thinking about next year's releases as soon as one year's releases are announced, but don't really finalize anything until about late April (i.e., just in time to get the new catalog to the printer). There are a number of "Wish List" threads for various areas of interest (I run one for 1/2400 Micronauts, but modern Microarmor is there also).

I see lots of Peeps have been adding lots of awesome stuff.

For me,

I would like the M3A2 to be added.

Furthermore, It would be cool to have the Arleigh Burke Flight IIA Destroyer out.

Two simple ones for now :p Till I can come up with a more concise list.

I would love to see some US Cold War and later tractor trailers. I'm modelling a 1:1 Armor Brigade in Germany and the one unit I can't model much of is the FSB. I know there are HEMTT's but the majority of the Supply and Transportation side of the FSB are tractor trailers, both cargo vans and fuel trailers. Also, it would be nice to have some HET's as well. Afterall, someone has to move a disabled M-1 some distance on occasion!

Also, I lost my vote years ago for artillery Combat Commands but I would also like to throw out the idea of Tank and Mechanized Infantry Combat Commands equipped with M-60A3's and M-113's. Once I get done my M-1A1 and M-2 equipped Brigade I want to go back and re-do the brigade at an earlier date with M60A3's / M-113's.

Heavy guns such as...

Post by Schwerepunkt »

....US Atomic Cannon M65 and the USSR 40.6cm gun (Atomic Cannon). 1950s.
Wehrmacht 47- E100Stug Flak Panzer JagdMaus, E75 Stug and Flak Panzer
PzKw VII Lowe 12.5cm gun, various Flak Panthers, 30mm quad, 55mm twin, Geschutzwagen and Waffentragers.
Highest priority: PzKw VII Lowe, E100Stug
I realize that Wehrmacht 47 received a huge priority last year and I certainly do not expect anything like that in the future. I hope a few more releases this next fiscal year might be possible.
