Free TOE's

Post by fullmetaljacket »

Hello all

Just wondering if there is anyone out there or website that has more TOE's like the ones found here under the free stuff on GHQ site? I love the way its layed out and easy to follow. DId GHQ make other TOE such as the ones in the free stuff? I would love to find TOE's layed out like this covering North Africa German, Italian, British, French and USA. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I have not run across anything like you mention. I have purchased quite a few books on North Africa in order to figure out the TOEs. That is probably your best bet. Its been hard to wade through the information since I have found contradictions but I have learned a lot about those battles so it was worth the effort. I have focused on Germans, Comonwealth, and most recently started planning Italians for a future GHQ sale.

Helpful indeed! And the list is owned / run by none other than thomas.tmcc, one of your friendly GHQ Forum Moderators!

Good selection of Commonwealth TO&E's

http://www.armouredacorn.com/orbatscdnww2.html

US forces post 1943, and if you scroll down there's a TO&E for a USAF fighter squadron

For a decent selection of German stuff (not theatre specific)

http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/ then click on the KSTN link on the top bar.
It's in German but comes with pictures. There is another site with more comprehensive lists but is made up of copies of the original documents. I'm assuming you don't want to translate from German...
