OK, we weren't going to post this until tomorrow, but it looks like some of the postcards have started to land. We are having a sale that runs through August 29th, 2011. The password is:
URBAN
and the sale is good for 15% on orders that are over $50.00 in merchandise. If you place your order online and it comes to $49.90 of merchandise, then the password won't work until you get over $50.00. The good news is that this sale is for EVERYONE, not just the kids at the cool table. You can use it to purchase Micro Armour, Micronauts, Terrain Maker, Roadmasters, and anything else listed on our website, or any mix of those things. We always send out the international postcards first, so our guess is that the people in Canada are the first to receive their postcards.
We are also going to start a new thread on our forum announcing the sale, and post it on Facebook. The e-mails will go out tomorrow, as scheduled.
I guess I won't be revealing anything secret here: the password for the sale is URBAN, and it is 15% off on orders over $50. As mentioned, it runs to Aug 29th, which I fear will not be long enough for the August releases.
Baphomet fear not, I will one day catch up to you!
Done are: one Mech battalion (including the anti-tank company), one tank company (to field a mech task force), one M-109 battery, one engineer company, one ACR ground troop and one ACR air troop. A portion of a signal company has already been done as well.
This order will be the rest of the tank battalion and the rest of the M-109 battalion.
December's order, if the sale comes, will be the second Mech battalion and the second tank battalion, the division I am modelling had two of each in this time frame, and the divisional MLRS / 8" howitzer battalion.
As I have lamented elsewhere, as you know, getting nowhere on the Forward Support Battalion. Oh well. Something to keep adding to each year's "What would you like to see?" thread. I haven't been "shouting into the wind" as long as some though! At least you know everything GHQ brings out fulfills a wish for someone. You can tell by the responses they are listening.
Sorry for the fornat, but I haven't figured out how you get another message quoted in to a response message like I see some do. I'm great at spreadsheets (others in the office are always asking me for help with them), fair at databases and positively lost at all the crazy stuff people do with email and bulletin boards! But then I almost never use them except here.

Brigade Commander, you can quote another message by clicking on the little 'quote' button on the upper right corner of each message.
Slow and steady wins the race, my friend. I am currently just a few vehicles short of having a (platoon scale) US Division, circa late '80s. I am setting it up with extras so that it can either be fielded as an armored division -or- a mechanized infantry division. Along with that I am also almost done with an ACR of my own, though with those two combined I am actually still short a fair number of Bradleys and nearly all the helos... Like life, it's a constant work in progress...
I really want to get them done so I can start on Soviets (base coat and no camo (on most)...YAY! )

Heavy sigh...
It's always the incredibly obvious! I kept looking in the "Post a reply" page.

Put my order in this morning. Getting back into moderns...already have some British Chieftains and FV432's, just adding some infantry to finish off my Infantry battalion. Still have a Soviet MRR infantry battalion based. Ordered for the T-72, BMP-1 combat command to add the BMP's to the infantry with the T-72's in support. Just a start.
Looking forward to seeing the new BMP-1's...they look great
